I kept repeating the sentence “be more interesting” once or twice per hour, constantly reminding myself to change because it would eventually do me good.
The first change was to allow myself to accept and understand that change isn’t for the weak ones, as I had led to believe. The clarity of me being wrong was devastating and for the first time in my life, I accepted defeat and I felt sorrow for my pride, because I knew it had to go.
About my past, I am sad because I miss it and I’m happy because I was lucky enough to be a part of it, and the only cliché is that I would go back in a heartbeat and relive it the way it was and change nothing.
One of the many things I have learned from reminiscing is the mystery of how the answers for the questions we often ask truly lie in our past. The “how” shouldn’t be a concern, because something’s just work without us knowing how it works, it is a selfish phenomenal we often forget and if mankind’s history have thought us anything, it should be the fact that we almost always forget things that benefit us.
Now why did I just write that, why did I just reveal some of my personal thoughts, why did I not care if someone would maybe find this funny, pathetic or weird? It’s because I’ve learned to believe in myself and with that came some kind of a perk, a security where I don’t let others misdirect my goals in life.
And I’ve learned some other things while growing; I found peace, unfortunately not in the world, but within myself. A place where I understand that I can’t change everything, but also a place where I will never believe that some bad things cannot be changed, its paradox, I know. But believing is stronger and bigger than logical demonstrations of absurdities, therefor, a world where magic doesn't exist isn’t superior to a world where magic is fiction.
You have to develop your own dynamic faith by just believing, just like looking through a mirror and seeing what you want to be, a perfect paradox trap.
Let life come to you, philosophy, find a way, peace, life, motivation, happy, believing
