There is so much fantastic music out there that is inspiring, touching, spectacular and amazing. However, a lot of people are missing out on all of those wonderful things because of how they chose to view music.

Some of us are open to all kinds of music where different genres and artists are welcome to expand our personal music libraries. Some of us only listen to what’s on the radio and don’t ask for more. But some people are closed to only one genre of music or certain artists because that’s what they’ve always listened to or because that is the only style of music that is accepted in their social circle.

If you belong to the latter group, I am asking you to open your mind! You are missing out on one of the most beautiful things in life; the diversity of music. Music is like food, you have to try it to see if you like it. And maybe you’ve tried it and it didn’t taste that good, but I’m here to say: maybe you just haven’t found the right cook yet.

Myself, I listen to every kinds of genre of music. As long as I like the song, it doesn’t matter to me what artist or genre it is!
